Le président Alpha Condé de retour d’un séjour de travail en Russie, Turquie et Paris a regagné le pays ce jeudi 31 octobre.
De l’aéroport Gbessia au palais Sekhoutoureya en passant par le palais du peuple, le président Condé s’est offert un bain de foule. Tout ceci, disent ses détracteurs, en réponse à la géante mobilisation du FNDC le 24 octobre dernier qui a drainé sur les rues de Conakry 30 mille opposants (bilan gouvernement) et 1 million 500 mille personnes selon le FNDC
Un défi que le RPG Arc-En-ciel et ses alliés notamment la CODENOC tenaient à relever avec ce retour du président Condé au pays. Joint par nos confrères d’Evasion, l’ancien ministre de la communication Alhousseyni Makanera Kaké membre du comité d’organisation s’est dit agréablement surpris de la mobilisation. “De ma petite mémoire, depuis 1981 ma date d’arrivée à Conakry jamais un Chef de l’Etat n’a été accueilli par une telle foule” a-t-il déclaré avant de s’enorgueillir que “la mobilisation du jour a drainé au moins 700 000 personnes”
En réaction à la taille de la mobilisation, Dr Fodé Oussou Fofana vice-président de l’UFDG contredit en parlant de 3 500 personnes dans la réception. D’où, a-t-il soutenu, le faux bond qu’Alpha a fait à ses partisans mobilisés au palais du peuple. “Il a compris l’échec de la mobilisation qu’il n’a pu avoir le courage de descendre, il est resté dans sa voiture, il n’a même pas dit merci à ses partisans” a commenté Fodé Oussou Fofana
Une guerre de chiffres vraisemblablement qui ne peut clairement définir la position du peuple auquel tous les deux camps se revendiquent. Il faut rappeler que toutes ces agitations sont consécutives au projet de nouvelle constitution voulue par le président Alpha Condé
