Conakry, le 22 mai 2020 – Le Ministère de la Sécurité et de la Protection Civile a appris avec amertume que des individus à la solde de l’Opposition, du FNDC et de personnes hostiles au Gouvernement et à la paix sociale multiplient des contacts pour organiser des troubles à l’ordre public dans plusieurs localités du pays dès la fin du Ramadan. C’est ainsi qu’un des leaders, en la personne de M. Sékou Kondouno a déclaré le 21 mai que : « Dès après la fête de Ramadan, les manifestations de rue vont reprendre ».
Il est aujourd’hui clairement établi qu’il s’agit de provoquer des affrontements avec les forces de sécurité et occasionner de nouvelles victimes, à l’image de ce qui s’est passé à Coyah, Dubréka et Kamsar, et ternir ainsi l’image du Gouvernement aux yeux de l’opinion nationale et internationale.
Ces projets d’agissement sans fondement en cette période d’urgence sanitaire visent tout simplement à instaurer un climat d’insécurité, occasionner la propagation du Covid-19 tant à Conakry que dans les Préfectures de l’intérieur et saper les efforts du Gouvernement.
C’est l’occasion pour le Ministère de la Sécurité et de la Protection Civile de prendre à témoin la communauté nationale, africaine et internationale et tous les partenaires ayant un intérêt particulier pour la Guinée : il devient évident que des politiciens associés à des prétendus acteurs de la société civile continuent à utiliser des mots d’ordre et des méthodes fallacieux pour parvenir à la remise en cause des institutions de la République.
Au moment où chaque guinéenne et guinéen consent d’énormes sacrifice pour venir à bout de la pandémie du Covid-19 et que, conséquemment et conformément à la Loi, il a été décrété l’État d’urgence sanitaire, aucun trouble à l’ordre public ne sera toléré.
Le Ministère de la Sécurité et de la Protection Civile informe, que des dispositions proportionnelles à la menace sont mises en place par les unités territoriales et par les services spécialisés de maintien et de rétablissement de l’ordre public.
Il y a lieu de préciser aussi, qu’en plus des dispositions de la Loi 009 sur le maintien de l’ordre public, du Code pénal et du Code de Santé publique, les mesures d’urgence sanitaire renforcées et additionnelles seront appliquées sans complaisance.
Les fauteurs de troubles ainsi que les commanditaires seront recherchés, traqués et traduits devant les Tribunaux conformément à la Loi.
A cet effet, le Ministère de la Sécurité et de la Protection Civile invite les citoyens à la retenue et au calme, seuls gages de la paix et du développement et qui, surtout, nous permettront de vaincre le Covid-19.
Le Ministère de la sécurité et de la Protection Civile sait compter sur l’esprit de civisme des uns et autres.
