La composition de la CENI continue de remuer la langue de certains politiques en Guinée. Le Président de cette institution Maitre Salif Kébé a été réélu à la tête de la Commission électorale nationale indépendante.
Pendant que d’autres politiques fustige cette réélection compte tenu de sa gestion des dernières élections communales du 4 février dernier, le Président du parti panafricain de Guinée quant à lui estime que ceux dont la CENI a besoin c’est d’une institution forte pas d’hommes forts « Moi je ne veux pas de problème de personne moi je veux que les institutions fonctionnent normalement, si Maitre Kébé peut bien faire le travail, je n’ai rien contre lui maintenant si des gens sont contre la réélection à la tête de la CENI, ils peuvent toujours s’exprimer aussi», a souligné le Président du PAG Dr Mansour Kaba.
Plus loin, Dr Mansour Kaba affirme que cette CENI est plus politique que technique il estime que cette nouvelle configuration fera l’objet de critiques à l’instar de celles qui l’ont précédée « La nouvelle structure est toujours injuste; elle est injuste dans le sens qu’on limite la représentation des partis politiques à la CENI à la représentation au parlement, c’est pas parce qu’on n’est pas dans le parlement qu’on est pas un parti ni crédible et qui n’a pas d’idées à proposer enfin la question qui se pose est de savoir est ce qu’il faut une CENI politique ou une CENI de technocrates telle question elle n’est pas encore pas débattue sérieusement mais pour le moment en tout cas c’est une CENI politique qui est là pour le moment mais une CENI politique très partielle »
