Dans une déclaration rendue publique, jeudi, 10 avril 2020, la Coalition Démocratique pour la Nouvelle Constitution (CODENOC) a exprimé sa “satisfaction” face à la validation du référendum constitutionnel par la Cour Constitutionnelle.
Après avoir rendu hommage aux victimes des violations électorales, la CODENOC accuse l’opposition réunie au sein du FNDC d’être les responsables de ces atrocités, parce que “les leaders de l’opposition ont incité publiquement leurs partisans à s’attaquer à tout Guinéen désireux d’exercer librement son droit de vote. Occasionnant des pertes en vies humaines et des dégâts matériels considérables”, a-t-elle dénoncé.
Plus loin, la CODENOC souligne d’avoir sans cesse appeler leurs adversaires politiques à l’observance d’un “comportement responsable” afin que les populations vivent leurs contradictions dans un esprit encourageant pour “la cohésion sociale, nécessaire dans toute démocratie”.
“C’est ce même appel que nous réitérons aujourd’hui encore au moment où notre Nation fait face à la pandémie liée à la maladie du Covid19”, a-t-elle indiqué.
Par ailleurs, tout en saluant la “maturité du peuple” pour sa “forte mobilisation” tout au long du récent processus électoral, la CODENOC remercie aussi les forces de défense ainsi que l’USSEL pour le “professionnalisme” avec lequel elles ont encadré la tenue de ce double scrutin.
Ensuite, la Coalition Démocratique pour la Nouvelle Constitution rend un hommage au président de la République et rappelle que “cette victoire à l’image de celle du NON du 28 septembre 1958 est celle du vaillant peuple de Guinée”, a-t-elle déclaré.
