Le front national pour la défense de la constitution n’en décolère pas malgré le léger report de deux semaines du double scrutin législatif et référendaire du 1er mars décidé par le président Alpha Condé au soir du vendredi 28 février dans une déclaration télévisée. Ainsi dans une déclaration sanctionnant les échanges, le FNDC décide d’accentuer la pression sur le pouvoir de Conakry afin qu’il abandonne non seulement son projet dit suicidaire de troisième mandat mais également procéder à l’organisation d’élections inclusives et transparentes. ‘’Non seulement ce report ne répond nullement à la demande légitime du peuple de renoncer au troisième mandat et aux réformes constitutionnelles mais aussi il ne résout pas les questions d’inclusion, de transparence et de crédibilité du processus électoral, nous devons savoir que notre lutte est loin d’être achevée’’ a martelé Abdourahamane Sanoh coordinateur national du FNDC
Par conséquent, renchérit Abdourahamane Sanoh, le FNDC appelle ses partisans à la vigilance accrue pour une résistance plus active avant de réitérer, selon ses propres termes, la demande du départ immédiat et sans conditions d’Alpha Condé pour dit-il, parjure et haute trahison. Il a enfin appelé leurs partisans à multiplier des manifestations pacifiques intenses dès le 5 mars pour obtenir le départ d’Alpha Condé. ‘’La victoire du peuple n’est plus loin’’ croient dur comme fer les opposants d’Alpha Condé sans fermer la porte à des bons offices pour un éventuel dialogue
