C’est au cours d’un entretien accordé à notre rédaction que Abdoulaye KOUROUMA, président du parti Rénaissance pour le Rénouveau et le Développement a justifié sa position face à l’augmentation du nombre d’électeurs et l’extirpation de mineurs du fichier.
“La CENI est une institution indépendante, je crois que nos hommes ont été conviés au travail que la CENI avait éffectué, je suis entrain de lire le rapport notre mission pour encore avoir d’amples informations. Il y a eu une augmentation de près de deux millions d’électeurs sur les six millions qu’on avait avant mais c’est justifiable par ce que nous avons quatre générations non enregistrées, c’est à dire non enrôlé dépuis 2013 jusqu’à maintenant il y a vraiment pas eu d’enrôlement” a soutenu Abdoulaye KOUROUMA.
Pour le politique cette augmentation du nombre d’électeurs est aussi du à la forte mobilisation des jeunes devant les CAERLE pour se faire enrôler. “Et nous avons vu un engoument au niveau des jeunes pour se faire enrôler, donc ça s’explique mais nous voulons beaucoup d’informations par rapport à ça, mais on ne s’immixe pas dans le travail d’une institution indépendante. En ce qui nous concerne nous allons juste se rassurer, vérifier l’authenticité de ce qu’il nous apporte comme argument” a conclu cet ancien membre de l’opposition républicaine
