En effet, outre la candidature portée par un parti politique légalement constitué, tout citoyen âgé de 40 ans au moins et 80 ans au plus peut se porter candidat sans être présenté par un parti politique. Bref, la nouvelle constitution ouvre droit à la candidature indépendante.
Les Guinéens sont attendus aux urnes le 21 septembre pour se prononcer sur cette constitution en marge du référendum.
