Un groupe de militaires permissionnaires de notre contingent déployé à Kidal au sein de la MINUSMA qui revenaient de la Guinée a été lâchement attaqué par des hommes armés le 22 février 2019 dans la localité de Siby, à la sortie de Bamako.
Au cours de cette attaque barbare, trois soldats guinéens (l’adjudant-chef Ismaël Bangoura, le sergent-chef Michel Théa et le sergent-chef Yves Haba) ont perdu la vie et un autre a été blessé.
En cette douloureuse circonstance, le ministre de la Défense nationale, au nom du président de la République, chef des Armées, présente ses condoléances les plus attristées aux familles éplorées, aux Forces de défense et de sécurité et adresse ses vœux de prompt rétablissement au blessé.
Le ministère de la Défense nationale condamne fermement cette attaque et réaffirme son engagement aux côtés des Forces des Nations-unies, dans le cadre de la lutte contre le terrorisme et l’extrémisme violent et pour un retour à la paix définitive au Nord-Mali.
Que les âmes des défunts reposent en paix.
