Selon les témoignages, le brigadier Mamadouba Bangoura était le garde corps du syndicaliste Amadou Diallo secrétaire général de la confédération nationale des travailleurs de Guinée.

Le brigadier Mamadouba Bangoura était de garde la nuit dernière. Il décide de rentrer un peu plus tôt chez lui, pour être auprès des siens, puisque ce jeudi est une journée de manifestation.
A Yattaya vers 4h du matin, il tape a sa porte. Pendant que safemme venait pour lui ouvrir l’entrée elle entend, soudain, un coup de feu. Elle ne pouvait jamais imaginer qu’on venait de tirer sur son mari.
Mamadouba Bangoura a pris une balle tirée par un inconnu alors qu’il patientait devant sa cour.
Sa moto et ses téléphones n’ont pas été volés. C’est seulement son arme qui n’a pas été retrouvée près de son corps gisant dans son sang. Elle a donc sûrement été emportée par son assaillant.
Le défunt était l’aide de camp du vice-président du Conseil économique et social et secrétaire général de la Confédération nationale des travailleurs de Guinée, Amadou Diallo.
