Dans ses premières prises de paroles, l’ancien ministre de l’économie et des finances sous le général Conté s’est montré ‘’euphorique’’ en déclarant que d’ici deux ans la Guinée va dépasser la Côte d’Ivoire. ‘’Irréaliste’’ a réagi Dr Ousmane Kaba lui-même ancien ministre de l’économie dans le gouvernement de Sidya en 1996
Invité ce mardi sur Sabari FM dans l’émission Comprendre l’actualité, le président du PADES (parti des démocrates pour l’espoir) a ironisé à la déclaration du premier ministre. ‘’Je pense que c’est plus qu’une déclaration politique qu’économique. Sur le plan économique, je ne sais pas comment la Guinée va dépasser la Côte d’Ivoire en 2 ans’’ a-t-il réagi avant de préciser ‘’d’abord l’horizon économique en deux ans c’est très court, deux ans ce n’est même pas suffisant pour faire un bon projet donc en 2 ans la Guinée n’a absolument aucune chance de dépasser la Côte d’Ivoire. Je suppose que c’est pour des objectifs politiques parce que mon ami (Kassory, ndlr) connait bien le cycle des projets’’
